Hues of Haiti
On September 22, 2023, I debuted 'Hues of Haiti' at the W83 Ministry Center in NYC. The exhibition showcased intimate and joyous glimpses into the vibrant Haitian community that raised me. It explored Haitian values and their impact on the experiences, expressions, and growth of both first and second-generation
Haitian-Americans in NYC.
In response to the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, the ‘Operation Rebuild’ initiative by Theophile Church Outreach Center provides ongoing support, including medical missions and efforts to rebuild communities in Haiti. On the opening night of the exhibition, we successfully sold prints to support Theophile Church Outreach Center in their efforts to establish orphanages, schools, housing, training programs, and resource centers for Haitian communities locally and abroad.
